FS: 1996 FZR600 with 92 front. $1600..OHIO

Post by danm7890 »

96 fzr600 with a 92 front end swap to single headlight. last ride of the season and main relay went out. replaced relay and fuel pump and im having a hard time getting power to the fuel pump. the wire must need replaced or somin but i have to move to nc soon for a job offer and i cant haul it. i was looking for 2000 with it running. since its not im looking for 1600. if interested please email asap as i have it stored inside my apt. also a clear ohio title. im located in lima, ohio

has about 22k on it, The tires are in good shape, oil and coolant were just changed. Also replaced the fork oil, only thing it will need down the road is maybe some fork seals. The paint looks ok, all the key operated devices work fine. seats are in good condition..No charging issues. The exhaust as some scratchs on the side from the previous owner but wasnt dropped on that side so maybe a diff exhaust. The bike has signs of being layed down on the left side, cover has scratches, but the side fairing looks ok..

Most of the guys here already have an FZR. Make sure to also post in your local Craigslist.

You certainly have a few things against you: it's winter time and it doesn't run. However; I believe $1500 is a fair price for someone local to you. I would work to get it going though. A $20 part could save you from losing several hundred.

Non running $1,000- 1,200 is probally the best you will do, you need to get it running to even think of getting $1,500. Good Luck to you. I agree craigslist is your best bet, most people here are looking for parts not whole bikes.

1996 FZR go for 1800-2400 here. 1500 is very fair to ask for. I agree it could be something small. but with doubling up on classes while working 40hrs a week. then im moving dec 22 to NC, its just not possible to tinker with it. I would love to be at this point but im just going to have to take the loss of cash and move on.

Now you've completed your move to NC. why not post in the 600 Garage, lets see if we can help you getting her running.

Give as much info as possible, I.E. what happened with the main relay e.t.c.

Mal.
