Yamaha FZR 400 / YZF 750 Engine Conversion

Post by lambzee_0000 »

For sale is my Yamaha FZR 400 fitted with a YZF 750 Engine with the following spec

YZF 750 Engine proffessionally fitted
YZF 750 Radiator
Fuel tank modified with YZF 750 bottom welded on to FZR Top for extra fuel capacity - Lovely job
Scorpion Exhaust
Brand new White Dymag wheels front and rear - 180 on rear
GSXR K3 1100 Front Fork fitted with associated brake calpiers - All proffesionally fitted
Tinted screen
Proffessional paint job in red
Nice fancy mirrors - Not sute what off
K & N Air filters
YZF 750 Swing Arm
Frame and Swing arm powder coated in black
Single seat
Carbon fibre front mud gaurd - Looks superb

Probably a few more bits and pieces but simply cannot remember them all

Bought off a lad a few years ago who spent aroung £13k on having this bike proffessionaly built - I think i have the CD with the uild pictures somewhere.

Only thing is the speedo never worked and was never fitted when i had it

Still registered as a 400 as just never got around to it

This bike is truly stunning apart that the screen has a break in it but they are only £30 odd - Selling as need to fund another project and just need the hard cash to pay for it.

Looks superb and i,m sure first to see will buy

Will put 12 months MOT on her

Please no test pilots or tyre kickers - This is a serious bike and for a real FZR Enthusiast.

I,m asking around £ 4500 for this bike but open to offers

If you Google FZR 400 with 750 Engine under images you will see my bike in various forms.

Please feel free to e-mail me on lambzee_0000@yahoo.co.uk or call on 07790 009234

Thanks

This bike has been all over the internet, so a lot of people have these pics. People don't understand the special properties of the 3TJ frame when they start talking about an engine swap into a 1WG or 3HE frame so this bike as well as a couple of others does 2 things: 1) gives inspiration, 2) serves as a "see this is way" example.

When did you pick it up? I didn't know the original constructor sold it. I remember seeing it in eBay a while back, but I didn't think it sold.
Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

Something is lurking, waiting, wanting to be built......It calls to me from the darkness....

I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel....Then I realize that it is the train coming to run my ass over....

Uh.... I searched Google.

I think you have it priced right at £2500. There is a lot of work in that bike as well as a lot of expensive parts.

I picked it up about 2005 and rode it home...i then rode it around a bit at home and then put it away for a year...took it to the BMF to show it and got a lot ot interest but no prizes : (

Bike has sat in my parants lounge since and is still there...i will dig it out soon and get it going...need the space and money for my racing ...

All i did was put a nice Carbon Fibre mudgaurd on it
