ready for my first track day at talledega!
hey guys whats up? i have been collecting all the required gear for a track day in time for nov 6th at talledega with stt! i got a joe rocket suit for 220 dollars! i got real luck on that find as they are in new condition! also i had to get some good gloves got them on ebay for 80 dollars shipped, and i finally got the tcx boots i ordered got em for 120 shipped! now im ready for the track! i cant wait. i hope ill see someone from the forum there that would rock!

congrats! take it easy as you'll have lots to learn on a first track day. the number 1 goal of every track day: leave with the bike looking like it did when you got there.

i have my "instructor" joining me in novice. a really cool guy. i taught me everything i know now. ive heard all about the meat grinder and stuff so ill be careful. oh and dont worry i will be careful its not my bike, i wrecked mine. yes i am trying to be funny here

Wish I could go. I don't have the leathers though. Been looking around for a set so I can start some track days. Bad part is that I would need to have nearly any set I find altered. My shoulders and arms put me into a 48/50, but my the rest of me wants to be in a 42/44 to be comfortable.
Where about do you live? If your doing Talledega you can't be too far away from it. Try to get some pics.

oh sure ill try and get my bud to take some pics and ill post em up. i live in dahlonega ga so it will be a good drive out there. im so stoked i cant wait sorry about your gear probs good luck withthat now that the riding season is over you might find a good deal
