does anyone know if a predetor end can Fzr600 3he 93 model would fit a Fzr600 3he 89/90 model is it a straight swap or is there any modification required

I would think it would fit given the PO had not modified anything to his bike. I don't think Yamaha ever changed the header for these bikes besides the EXUP valve. Even then, I don't think the physical size changed.

Unless the PO had after market headers fitted (different diameter end can?). Ask the seller to measure the internal diameter of the can.In this situation I always check the parts fiche and compare the part numbers of the 2 years in question.

Although the numbers differ, take a look at the pic's. The only difference between the mufflers appears to be a heat shield (upgrade/modification?), also a complete system is the same part number for both years.
