The old fart / maturity factor may be starting to apply, but it is a True Fact that if your engine is set up for 'Regular', running 'Super' will actually cost you in power, performance, and mileage...

I don't even look at the price, so I don't know. I'm GONNA pay it, gasoline is my addiction. I'm in a small town and the gas station owners must have a gentlemen's agreement not to have gas wars with each other.

Over $2, under $3 based on my 'fill up' totals.

I commute 30 miles each way, each day and fill my truck (GMC S-15, 22mpg) twice a week. I take my bike to work some, but not super often-it's a damn whitetail gauntlet to run and I do it in a few minutes (5:19am as I write this)

Welp, crap hit the fan today. I just paid $3.47 a gallon for 89 octane. We have a "basic fuel" here in town and it's cash only. All they have is gas and sodas. Everywhere else in town in $3.67. Just wanted to rub it in. :)

I guess with the gas going up, it's a real good excuse to ride the motorcycle more.

I work from home, so I don't even know what gas prices are around here.

You can outsource some of your work to me if you want. Or I could commute to stl to help you out but you'd have to pay the gas for me. :deal:

I wonder if we could get a way to puree money mixed with liquid gold and run our bikes off of it. :duh:

£1.13 a litre sounds really cheap now. I am typically paying £1.34 at litre at the moment. The motorway service stations near here are charging £1.43.

Paying £1.33 litre here is south Essex at the moment.

On a very recent trip in Europe I was paying 1.35Euro's around Burgos and Soria. 1.55 Euro's in southern France & 1.65 Euro's a litre in Eastern France and in Germany. In France the Carrefours were always the cheapest. I also noted that in Eurupe you are getting E10 fuel everywhere (10% Ethanol?). In UK I think we still mostly E5.

While commuting I look for cheap fuel. Normally Waitrose cheapest supermarket fuel, Shell is cheapest/best quality and BP dearest.
