oh bother lost RH lever wires

Post by yamaha_george »

:swear :swear I have managed to mis-place the front brake harness wires that go to the double prongs on the front brake switch for my project bike, trouble is they are from a modern bike(cause the lever is cam adjustable & separate brake fluid reservoir and non of my spares fit as they are all the little push knob type not for the Micro switch type that I am seeking.

Any one have one to sell the old man? The Madam is tapping her foot because the Bike is still in the lounge ..........

Thanks guys & gals

If you can draw each end of the connector type and give me the wire length, I can build one for you. Or I might have one around here somewhere. But the switch description is a little vauge because the standard wire that comes from the brake perch lever is connected to the 9 wire terminal connector that the start/run switch uses to plug into the main harness. Do you have something different, or am I not understanding what you are looking for?
Yes, that is a Single Sided Swingarm FZR600 that I built.

Something is lurking, waiting, wanting to be built......It calls to me from the darkness....

Cad600,
what i have mis-placed is the two wires and the connector that attach to the front brake micro-switch ( on what ever bike the lever assembly came from (has cam action to set lever "reach" and a remote reservoir BUT no-radial )that has two flat spades sticking out of the switch to take the 2wire & socket I have mis -laid.

I don't think the Foxeye Clutch switch wires will fit.

The Foxeye loom does have some wires that may fit, if so let me know how long you need them, I'll chop them out.

The 4 single ones.

Mawler,
those separate wires look to be for 6mm spade of which I have the RS 6mm by the 100 (I get to alter all sorts of stuff )

The clutch wires look to be the 2.8mm (went and measured then :-{ sad or what ?) that would work.
If you are prepared to sell that whole LH assembly I would be glad as it is in better order than the one I am about to use and just take the pair out and use them on the right :-}

Email me you have my addy rather than clutter up the board with us arguing about price :rofl:
