Finally got my decals on.

Post by kilika2 »

First off, sorry the pics are cut off but I think if you click on them it makes them full screen. And enjoy my Geo Tracker in the background. P.S. It's blue not purple. :banjoman

Bought the decals off ebay, pretty happy with how they turned out. This is right before the 150 mile ride this last sunday. On the one video you can see my girlfriend trying to stay out of the video. Good try.

I really liked how the orange looks, this was when I had just put the FZR's on. I changed the 1:1 the next day. This 1:1 is actually where I cut the Deltabox II in half.

I didn't have room for the Genesis anywhere else that I liked so I decided to play with it a bit. Put some new stripes and the scoop now have white.

A close up of the Genesis 1:1 and the new stripes.

Front view. I really want to put white in the scoop below the Yamaha, and in the ram air tubes but it was too hard to do with the little bit of white that I had left. But this is one of the stops during the 150 mile bike ride.

This is the video of the gf trying to hide. I'm glad there were other sport bikes there. The CBR on the far left, a Ducati, and a Busa.

This is the rain storm that came down after we were doing the awards. You can't see too much rain but trust me it was a gulley washer. Had the leave the FZR out there in it. :mad(

Looks real good, Chris. Love the "Genesis" play on words....

On a personal note - I suck at applying decals...getting better, but I don't care to work with them. I started making my own with my wife's Cricut.

Darrin, we have an auto trim design down here, and the guy talked me into this "new" decal it's got some weird texture on the back that makes it so there is NO air bubbles. He was right the only problem I had was when I would smooth out the corners, without cutting the decal even remotely close, I would get a crease, but he also said I could remove and reapply as many times as I needed. So I would do that to get rid of the crease. Worth the extra $.45 a square foot if you ask me.

Chris.

I like to mix it up like that. Take us all back to the 30's.
