That's exactly what my 125 was doing.

My only experience with hydraulic clutches are on cars, is there no adjustment on the slave cylinder? have you bled the system?

Well, a few things... either your clutch plates are sticking, your slave is shot or leaking, or you didn't bleed the system enough. If the master was going I think you'd have a problem trying to engage gears... My GSX1100 katana does that. Never really bothered me too much... have you tried riding it and work the clutch, sometimes if the bikes been stode a while the friction plates can stick making that happen i believe.

thanks for your replys guys,
and in answer, yes i have bled the system well and still nothing....
ok i have stripped the clutch and buffed up the steels and cleaned the plates to make sure there is no dirt...
when i stripped it i found a ring in the middle of the clutch, pics coming, and didnt know what it was, i have never
seen anything like it in a clutch before. now, its either in the wrong place or its been put in for another reason.
i have taken it out and the clutch is working fine now...
what the bloody hell is this ring and where does it go????

ok i have now found out what it is and its a cushion spring, im not sure what it does but in my bike it is causing
the clutch to drag, i have removed it and it works fine, i know it is suposed to be there but can i still use the bike with
out it??? can anyone help me???

i am going to have another look at it and rebuild it again and refit the spring and see what happens....

please help me if you can......
