FZR Hybrid power down after a good run

Post by EZMOTO »

Hey got my fzr 4/6 hybrid up & running, very happy with the extra power, but seems that after a while of riding hard it feels sluggish i feel this is prob due to the heat rising and not giving clean air to the carbs, when its cold its really responsive, i have 130 main jet and running stock 400 airbox with snorkel cut off, but top of my tank cover after a ride is so bloody hot, was thinking of cutting holes in top of tank cover to release the hot air that is obviously keeping in there

any ideas guys

As far as aerodynamics just be aware that it is more important to get the air out than in.
Always overengineer that part if you aint into the loop on aerodynamics.
Think static highpressure area vs lower pressure dynamic area.
Air is always sucked out.
Not pushed in.
