I Have a 1995 FZR600R Foxeye (4JH), and i recently did the fork seals on it, the front was lifted for the day so i could get the forks off. Anyway, i rebuilt everything and all was good, i then went to start the bike and all i got was it turning over, it wasnt struggling turning over it just wouldnt fire. I thought i might have unplugged something or forgot about something but i went back through and checked everything and it all seems in its place, the kill switch works, clutch switch and kickstand switch so its not any of them, has plenty of fuel and the fuel pump is priming, have all dash lights, indications and headlights etc
I checked the battery and it had 12V + so it cant be the battery, checked the plugs today and wasn't getting any spark from them, the plugs seem fine and wern't oily or anything, checked the coils and they were getting power to them so i thought it cant be them. Its just strange how before i did the seals it has never failed to start, not once, and now that everything is back together it doesn't want to start, i will put some new plugs in it tomorrow and hope that sorts it out. Other than plugs and leads i have ran out of things to eliminate but i have probably missed plenty of things. I have read about people having Stator problems? etc
Is there anyway i can check the stator? What should it be at?
Any help is greatly appreciated, and hopefully i can be part of a quality community
Thanks,
Dean.
