Ebay rearsets, has anyone used these?

Post by STN »

Have you guys seen these? I've been looking for a set and they should be the last thing I need to get my FZR on the racetrack.

I was wondering if the bolt pattern is the same for the FZR6 as it is with the 4. And as well if any of you have used or seen these before.

I personally have no idea BUT he has a good rep here in the Uk amongst the guys I know. I emailed him to see it will fit the 600 but he may not know either.
I assume that being stateside you have a 1W1 fzr400 , anyone know the fixing bolt centers for the rider position Lh & Rh?

NOTE with Yamaha do NOT assume they are the same Left & right !

UPDATE:-
The seller says these footpeg sets are for the RRSP 400 which has a differet frame to the other 400's

He doesn't say if they are stock position or raised. Since they're not adjustable, I would assume they have been raised and pushed back?

Fair assumption seeing he says these are for race only (no brake light switch provision )

Ah well thanks guys. I actually ride an fzr600 but assuming the rearsets are the same they should fit right? And about the placement I also assumed that they were raised and pulled, but I'll see.
Thanks again. Seems I'm getting a whole 'nother fzr600 to play with tomorrow as well.

the 400 and 600 rearsets have the same bolt pattern. I have china's set (awesome btw!) and had them on my 600 frame before switching them to my 400 frame.
I did that.

T,
I will make the assumption you are stateside (no location in your profile) and that unless you have a grey import 400 your frame will be a 1W1 ?
The seller said and i quote " that these foot pegs are for the RRSP 400 which has a different frame from the other 400's..
So saying these pegs will definitely fit .....................you KNOW this how ?
