JRK, I'm sure its been said before, but I'm gonna say it again - that is one goddamn tasty FZR you've built there my friend. Some classy bikes have appeared from our members, but that's in the top 3, easy.

:banjoman In any Jap bike, with a wet clutch use only oils with a JASO MA cert. as theat indications means they are compatable with the friction plates in your clutch. Automotive oils should be avoided as any friction modifiers will eventually raise clutch grip issues

Hop this helps

P.S. Just picked up a 92 FZR 1000 Exup and am impressed with my first 200 k on it today Noob

HI: Allan here .. new FZR EXUP(92) OWNER, AS OF YESTERDAY.
Regarding Oil for Jap bikes ( and many others) that use wet clutches. Under no circumstances should any oil with friction modifiers be used.. NEVER..... : :cop:

Always choose an oil, of the appropriate for your area/temp that carries a JASO MA certification, which signifies it will be compatible for use in their wet clutches. If you flirt with other oils you may have to become skilled at replacing clutch Paks.

Hope this helps :king
