see if this link works out.
It is me in front of my race partner Fred. He is on a built Honda CBR1000RR superbike.
We are on the front straight of the Shanghai F1 circuit. he is filming behind me. Its more of a sound bite really as you can not see us well.
I am getitng a video made and will post it up here. I need a bit more footage to get it wher I want it to be first though.
Fred said coming out of the corners he could not keep up with me in 1st, 2nd and most of 3rd gear (Thanks Spyder) then his bigger bore engine takes over.
In the cold weather with a crappy drive out of the last turn before the long back straight I still got her up to 260 KM/H
We are doing about 130 mph as we pass the camera

Spyder built the engine and he can tell you what kit he used. I had an issue with the gasket on the crank but with all the banging around this thing went through in shipping its a wonder that the only thing that went wrong.
I will have the new flywheel on it next week and when I get back from the USA in mid August I will take her to the track and race her about the last week of August or 1st week of September.

if you want some of the end of the season action pics you can go here.
same configuration for this year jsut added a overbore kit which now makes her a 637cc bike. I also replaced a leaking crank seal which required a new flywheel as I had to cut off the last one which was frozen on for some unknown reason.

So balancing the crank... How much did that put you out? And would you recommend it for a stock engine?
