in the WIKI there is a list of inter-changeable stuff like sprockets listed that would be where I would start.

Re: sprocket
I ran a 14/49 (520 chain) sprocket set-up without any issues. Gave the FZR the "off the line, out of the corner" pep I was looking for.

Re: sprocket
Word of warning do NOT go under 14 teeth front the load on smaller amounts of teeth SIGNIFICANTLY increases wear on sprockets/ chains & front sprocket bearings.ragedigital wrote:I ran a 14/49 (520 chain) sprocket set-up without any issues. Re: sprocket
48 tooth sprocket required as fj sprocket is same part number but different hole centres, what other sprockets will fit a 91 fzr 600

Re: sprocket
If you go with an aluminum rear sprocket from Vortex, there are options from 43 to 53 tooth rear sprockets.

Re: sprocket
Do not add links to a chain. The links stretch with Wear and Tear, adding new link/links will cause a tight slack chain effect.
Damaging rear wheel, swing arm, and front sprocket, bearings. Probably other issues Don't do it!
