Ok, so I got an ugly fzr 600, ugly colors.. heres the first pics, guy used spray paint and was missing a fairing.. got the fairing on ebay for 100 shipped!
And here is my progress, keep in mind I have not buffed it..
I painted baby blue, and mixed clear with red pearl and sprayed the clear on top.
Ill take some pics in the sun after I get it registered.
YES it looks purple.. but indoors... outdoors it looks blue and when the sun hits it, the pearl sticks out really good.
Paint job was free as I had left over paint from my brothers paint job.

nice paint job in quality
as far as shade I would have gone for a darker blue with some fleck thrown in to give it that nice sparkle

Neat job, but you need some white to "raise" the blue to its full potential, white yamaha decals are not going to be enough unless you use some quite large FZR decals on the side panelsreallyniceguy wrote:Ok, so I got an ugly fzr 600, ugly colors.. heres the first pics, guy used spray paint and was missing a fairing.. got the fairing on ebay for 100 shipped!
