My Fzr600-r6 enjoy lots of pics

Well here it is..This is my Yamaha FZR600 that i purchased for 800$ out of some old ladies barn..it has now become my daily driver and loving every minute of it. thanks for looking

Fzr600 Frame All fearing tabs and excess tabs removed..
Custom spacer machined to accept a stock fzr600 steering shaft and bearings but use the top and bottom triple trees from an 03 R6
Complete 03 R6 front end
Steel braided Brake lines
stock Honda CBR600 master cylinder
Aftermarket Clip ons
Relocated the key under the seat
Acerbis street fighter headlight with high and low beam
Full trail tech vapor gauges with temp sensor. mount welded to the upper clamp
full rear end off of 02 R6
Relocated the shock mount
Vortex lowering links
520 chain conversion

When i first got it all cleaned up

Hi,
Nice work you have made the bike your very own.
My one worry is the vunerability of your ignition switch or more acurately the key when it is in place.

Should you ever lose control & it drops the key is toast! you then only have the kill switch to switch off for safety's sake
Might I suggest that you put a "slider " block of material just fore & aft of where the key sits to protect it.
You have a a natural eye for what you like so I do not think it would be much of a challenge to incorporate this extra bit of safety.

Hey what did u do with the original plastics? if u still have them i may be interested in purchasing them

One day I hope to tackle the swing arm swap, kinda scared to start

What swingarm and wheel are they? IE year and model.....and how difficult was it to do? Was it just bolt on or?

nice work, are you going with the custom tail i see in some of the pics or with the r6 tail i see also?
