I have the same setup, but on a mock up, it looks like I'll have clearance issues.

The triple is about 1/2" higher then stock so I made a spacer out of pipe to make up the difference. the bars are touching the upper forks so it's TIGHT. Brake line barely fight, I had to un-bolt the distribution block that mounts near the horn to give me enough room. getting all the controls on was a challenge but you just have to get it on in the right order and the bars will bolt up but not much room to move them around. I am happy with them because once it was made to fit, it looks and rides awesome.

So you used the spacer under the triple clamp? I have SS lines that are more than long enough, so that won't be an issue.

Yeah under the triple sandwhiched between that and the frame neck

mmmm, care if I bug you for the size(length and diameter) and type of pipe you used? Seeing as you've done it already, it'll save me the guess work.

can't remember the size, just matched the diameter of the rest of the crcular stuff underneath the triple, use thick walled steel just in case, like 3/16 should be beefy enough

Recieved my new headlight assembly, It's just a cheap universal streetfighter one off ebay. has blinkers and hi/lows so i'm happy with it. I'll post pics up tomorrow when i can get it in the natural light instead of a dim lit garage. Also got the lfosh mount blinkers instead of my other aftermarket ones since i broke the old one...ooops. They are faux carbon fiber lenses that blend in well with the rest of the bike bit still let the blinker light go through! still waiting on more carbon fiber to come to get the rear fairings done and then i'll be done for awhile and ready to ride it!

I'll keep the stock guages for now but later on i'll put a smaller digital guage on. TIME TO RIDE! and still got to carbon fiber the fairings but should be here tomorrow!

Can you take a side view pic? You used the stock gauge mounting but cut away what wasn't needed from the cage?

No cage, mounted the headlight to the forks with the supplied mounting kit, jimmyrigged+zipties for the guages. and tucked the wiring behind the light, turned out well and the guages are secure til i find an aftermarket one i like and have extra money for.

Got ya. I was thinking of using the stock cage for the gauges and cut and re-weld them a little higher/closer. The gauges I like are about $350 and will more than likely wait til next year.

Nice! Yeah im lookin at the vapor but my stock guages do just fine and i could use the money else where. Got the bike done for now, went on an hour trip tonight and was the first time out on the bike, wasn't shifting past 4th and got into 5th once so i brought it back home and adjusted the shift linkage and now works perfect! Had a friend cut some custom vinyl stickers, will get pics up tomorrow when its light out, they say no fat chicks right below the rear fairing
