Interference or Non-Interference?
Is the FZR 600 engine an interference or non-interference engine?

im purely guessing but all the dirtbikes ive owned that were 4 stroke were interference so thats my guess
ones life is the way it is only because you allow it make it happen.

Non-interference engine = cam chain/belt snaps, or valve timing is incorrect, pistons do not hit valves.
Interference engine = cam chain/belt snaps, or valve timing is incorrect, pistons do hit valves.
My guess. the 600 is a high compression engine 12.1 ratio. Higher compression = smaller combustion chamber. I'd put money on it that the 600 is a "interference engine". But I'm not certain.
