Well before this thread resurfaced, i'd been googling for a fork clamp, came up with 38mm pre 94, 41mm post 94. The only 38mm clamp i found, the site is screwed and you can't place an order.

Since sweekster said 37mm  i googled "fzr 600 37mm" "fzr 600 38mm" "fzr 600 41mm" all came up with fork oil seal replacements :headscratch: so ive ordered a Vernier Calliper Gauge, i'll measure the diameter (mines a 92) and let you know. Id rather have a tight fitting 37mm on a 38mm tube, than a loose fitting 38mm on a 37mm tube, that's if 38mm clamps are available.

The blurred line between the FZR600 and the FZR600R (AKA Fox Eye Euro FZR, Fox Eye US YZF600R) always will confuse everyone. I think I have a post somewhere that explains all that melodrama. Anyway, the 89-98 FZR600 (Not Fox eye or Thundercat) should measure at 38mm (please correct if I'm wrong). A 37mm clamp will do that job just fine if torqued down proper like.
