Rear Axle Dimension Needed

Post by RoadDogma »

Can anyone give me the dimensions (diameter and length) for FZR1000 rear axles. I'm looking for a suitable donor for my FZR400RR.
FZR400 (1WG): Purchased a perfectly good FZR400 with Yoshimura slip-on/EXUP, Yosh jet kit, Factory ignition advance, Racetech springs and emulators. It even had great bodywork. Like some diseased maniac I had to mess with everything good about that bike. Well, at least I have better brakes now.

FZR400RR (3TJ):Yeah, it's pink.

Nice write-ups George. I appreciate the heads-up, but I am still left wanting for a solution. I am aware of the 1WG/3HE and the 3TJ dimensions. I know that my 3TJ requires a 20mm OD x 330mm L. axle. What I need to know is what other bike might I source a suitable replacement from. I thought maybe one of the FZR1000s might give me love. So, does anyone know?
