motor overhaul?
over the winter my buddy had a 95 600 and he tore it apart to replace the shaft the front sproket goes onto.he lost intrest an i bought the motor from him for a hundred bucks.well after spending like 250 bucks for the master overhaul gasket kit, i was miking everything and surprisingly everything was within .001,except one valve shim. Are these engines that good ? the motor came from a bike with 24,000 miles.its never been rebuilt b4. im just kinda shocked that everything was that close to being new. you guys know if this should be right?
