PLUS where in the world are you as the market model varies. !!!

When you assembled the steels they all had the sharp edges facing the same way RIGHT?

if not it is prone to slippages as the plates have a slight bevel on them from the stamping press the day they are made.
Some yamaha corks are also mounted on alloy and can warp so check those on a piece of plate glass or a machine shop surface plate.(polished grave stones are of use as well.)

You've checked the master cylinder and slave cylinders for leaks? Doesn't sound like that's where the problem is though. Sounds like the fiber disks have lost their grip

i noticed that when i pulled the slave cilinder it slowly exstended out almost like i squeased the handle.. i used a small c clamp and pushed it back in to its bore then removed clamp and it slowly came right back out ..is this normal??

No it sounds as though you have air in the system, when it is in place the air is compressed but as soon as you take the pressure of the piston it expands and pushes the piston out and thus gives you a mushy clutch as you have experienced.

ok i bled every thing made sure all steels are facing same way and still slips in the higher rpm. could it be my clutch springs are just not strong enough ? the reason i ask is after about 10 miles or so when the moters hot it dosent slip any more only when bike is below a sertain temp. also does any one know what sise the o ring is on the clutch side cover the first time i pulled itt the p.o. had black tape rapped around the little tube and i didnt get one with new cover gasket so i used a o ring for a pressure washer tip it fit but id like to have the corect one in there.. thanks
