TurboDave wrote:ya the how too's and wiki on this site has been great for information after doing some searching im going with pods but i do not want to rejet my carbs so im going to flow my stock airbox and restrict the pods to the same cfm as the stock airbox that way A/F will be the same i will post more pics when the pods come in im also looking for 99 to 02 r6 seats if anyone has them

TD,
If you use pods alone be sure to mimic the carb to airbox length by using PVC pipe. I did this by using the stock airbox rubber and lining it with the PVC pipe but an inch lnger. Theboot goes on the carb as normal but the pod goes on the pvc pipe that is an inch above the boot. that way the tuned length for intake remains the same so the intake resonnance is also the same and no need to re-jet.

Hey do you have any measurments on the mount you had to weld in for the rear seat to mount safley? I have all the stuff to do this an could probably figure it out on my own but if you had measurments(lengths, and Angles) That would help out soo much. By the way the tail looks flawless!
Thanks in advance
