Stop Talking and Drive - VW/Honda Collision

Post by WSM »

I have a feeling this one has been posted before, but I can't think of a reason that it should not be seen again.
I have seen various "calculations" of the speed of the Honda, but the point is simple.
Don't be stupid. Both cagers and us riders.
Both yours, and others lives are worth more than "just a quick" 100mph+ "experience," not to mention a 30 second phone call that could have been made 30 seconds later once you got to where you were going.
You only make excuses for things you know you shouldn't be doing.

All Original, except for a custom saddlebag set up. A machine shop buddy of mine seamlessly fitted two GS bags on the rear end for last summers ride.

They added that a 'cell phone had nothing to do with this'. Too bad people take bad wrecks and blame them on one thing or another. It could have just been a inattentive car driver or a reckless motorcyclist.

HOWEVER; always be aware of motorcyclists, whether you're in a car or on your bike.

On a side note, that car is like an exhibit. Look at all the people standing around it.
