Motorcycle Season in NJ
So it's starting up finally, it's 63 here in NJ today I hear a ton of bikes rolling around
Who's been out yet?
How about an NJ ride anyone?
Getting my bike out of storage next week - possibly this weekend depending on the weather

Re: Motorcycle Season in NJ
Down here in DC its REAL nice!
Hit low 60s today and is supposed to hold about that for the rest of the week.
I was going get the bike out last weekend, first since last season, but had to run to OH to visit family... (rented a brand new MB C300... haggled them down to $20 over the standard car price for the whole weekend. That was fun!
)
I'm hoping it will stay clear through the weekend (forecast of some showers) so I can get on the road then.
I'll be poking around here for those of you in the NOVA area in another month or so.

@ Fizz..I was out already! I'm riding! Got the bikes started up over the weekend, I'm ready to roll.. I'm up for a ride! New hope, PA?
@WSM- MY son is at Georgetown .. No car and no bike.. We were gonna take a ride when the weather gets better to drop off his bike.. I hate to leave it in the city but at least he'll have wheels..
All that said, i should get legal

Re: Motorcycle Season in NJ
here in KC it got nice for about a week and i got out alittle bit...now this weeks been raining. but im fully ready for the season now, got my new tire on, oil change and new air filter!
!

Re: Motorcycle Season in NJ
Yup. Rainy up and down the East Coast this weekend.
Another week to wait out better weather...
I should have a new set of Battlax's and TourMaster pants by then though, so no rush.
I just stare at it every night when I wake up... "Damn I wish it were nice out and I didn't have to work!"

Hey Fizz where in Jersey are you? Im in Belmar down at the shore. I was out all day yesterday tearing sh*t up with a decent amount of people. All different bikes from 1000rr's to gsxr's to me =)
Also this saturday Xtreme Machines in Millstone on 33 or 34? forgot .... BUT they're having an open house for yamaha. Im shooting to be there around 11-1ish. I'm getting some people together so if your down, lets try and hook up and ride down there.

Re: Motorcycle Season in NJ
I've got a nice ride I have planned for tomorrow. 70 and clear!
I freshened up the bike, and did a once over of the whole machine last week, as it's been hibernating since November.
All is ready to roll!
Of course next week it's going to rain and the temp drop 20 degrees!
Ah, Spring!

Re: Motorcycle Season in NJ
Yeah Fizz deff will be. My 1K is my only form of transportation =) Will deff rep the FZR HARD. Ahhh Toms River! I went to school at North... Hooked up with some bikers the other day at wawa on 37.. Needless to say the kids on the 1000rr's were impressed the way I was keeping up with them and pulling them around turns down on Bay ave.
But Yeah Xtreme machines is having an Open house this Saturday so I'll be down there around noonish maybe a little later. Take a ride down! Im trying to get some other people together. I'd really like to do 3 pulls on their dyno for 30 bucks to see what im putting down excatly.
