Re: Before I sell this thing for parts.....
It has been at a dealership being diagnosed. They've taken it out on several rides and cannot duplicate the problem. I should get it back on Wednesday, we'll see if I am just cursed or not. The weather is warming up, so hopefully I can put some miles on it.
Re: Before I sell this thing for parts.....
They did a 3rd test ride with no issues. They said the chain and sprocket are worn. What's involved in changing those? I have a manual on the way but even with paying for 2 day shipping it isn't scheduled to be here until mid April.

Cool, thanks. I have it bookmarked for later.
Re: Before I sell this thing for parts.....
The plot thickens..... Picked it up from the dealer and took it for a ride. Again after a couple of miles it started to bog down. When I picked it up the fuel cock was in the reserve position. I put it back to on before starting out this morning. Before it stalled completely, I moved it to reserve and it kept running. It had almost a full tank of fuel. Is it possible the tube for the on position is clogged? Would that account for running for a couple of miles and then not start until enough fuel could seep past a partial blockage?
I'm happy to run in reserve if needed, the trip odometer is reset at every fill up.
I was just happy to get in 10 miles without being stranded on the side of the road again.
