Re: FZR600 fighter build
One thing for sure you will be always able to find it on a darkened parking lot, unlike a certain GSXR rider here in Trinidad got on the wrong one of 4 (yes 4 identical GSXR's ) the daft thing was the "owner" came out yelling at him only to find he was wrong as well it actually belonged to girl LoL
Very entertaining whilst sitting at an open air bar sipping the local beer & swapping biking stories with my buddy Brian who was entertaining 2 young women with old "racer" stories.

Re: FZR600 fighter build
well i am also going to do one of our orange LED kits on it, i know a lot of ya are not into LED kits but we do them in the shop and i love how they can be used to accent a bike if done right... she will def stand out!
did not get much done but i did prep the tubes... they are ready to be reassembled now, wet sanded with 900m,1200, 1500, and 2000. then turned on the buffing wheel with polish. this makes sure that the coating is perfectly smooooooth and the fork seals will not leak at all, and they fit right into the trees. here are some pics of that
also tore apart the new brakes and cleaned them and put them back together the seals looked brand new! got the braided lines all shined up as well
the rest of the bike is flat black so i did not got crazy on the shine on the polish on the tubes, just enough to get them smooth as glass and keep the dulled down look on the black (only powder you can use for this is a gloss)
before being wiped down but finished
brakes cleaned and reassembled, started wet sanding the down tubes (water and 2 drops of dish soap)
start polishing
still polishing
because everyone is asking about the gold wing, we are still rocking away on it

Frame is blasted.... we are so busy in the shop i am not sure when we are going to get to lay some powder on this sucker but we will see... may be another week or so ... ooh ya to take care of the undertail issue i welded in a plate between the frame rails that goes all the way up, once the whole thing is coated it should look great!

what brand of powder do you use.... my suplyer doesn't offer a candy looking powder with flake.. many candy and anodized looking powers, but no flake.

Re: FZR600 fighter build
I don't know how much the 5 are that you need but I have a dealer locally that I think has some pretty good prices. I got a clutch gasket and stator gasket for 18.50. I know they have the whole gasket set-up for 115. So if you get some prices and you don't like them let me know and I'll give them a call.

Went and looked up on bike bandit. Here is the gaskets I would get, then maybe valve too.

click on crankcase cover 1 after you get to the link. Number 6-12-21
The dealer here was cheaper than bb by a lot after shipping.
