Old picture of dead but not forgotten FZR. It's an Avon 160/60/17 if I remember correctly (they also make a tire for the FZR 18inch rear wheel as well) . I don't remember what model number of that tire though

Hmmm Thanks sweekster. I had avon on my bike from the PO but they didn't look like that. Obviously they made different tires. Thanks for letting me know. And is that res that you posted made from an old pipe bomb?

It's an Avon AV36. They don't make them anymore if I recall correctly. That back rim is now on FZRGirl's FZR:

I thought the same thing. It's just pvc painted black. Damn good idea though. That's actually Megaloxana's 92 FZR600 which has a full Airtech body kit on it.

Some Home Depot stores carry black ABS pipe. I'm not certain on the heat limits of it though since it's used for drainage only.

thanks to all! I may just do as PIMPMYFZR suggested and swap out the tail...still mulling it over. As for the coolant overflow, I've got an 12oz aluminum bottle waiting to be drilled

Im just curious as to why u cant just buy an R6 colant over flow tank to go with the tail? did they not store them there or what?

Most newer bikes have them towards the front closer to the radiator.

well my bike is in about 1000 pieces right now for powder and paint, and being that i still have customers stuff coming in the shop we are looking like some time near the end of the month for me to have it finished... but to give you an idea here is what i got, (to cut it i used a dremil cutting kit)

I just saw something else that has great potential for an overflow tank. Those new Aluminum beer bottles that Miller Lite is putting out. 12 and 16oz's!! Have a beer while working on your bike, and then re-use it! How's that for going green? Reduce, re-use, recycle!!
