FZR Archives
I know some of you are mods on the archives. If you could stop by there and delete all the porn, especially the child porn that would be swell.
Also, I know the archives shuts down when there is too much traffic, so if somebody knows how to bombard a site, the archives would be a good candidate. I've asked Mike to shut is down if nobody is going to be monitoring the site.
I'm sorry, I don't mean to bash another site, especially the archives. I have been a member there for a long time and considered it my favorite site. However, the lack of adult supervision has crossed the line from annoying to reckless.

Told ya so
Youre exactly right, but the site has been on the decline for at least the last 2 years IMO. It either needs a complete overhaul and active staff, or it needs to be shut down, its just junk now for the most part.

Re: FZR Archives
I liked the way the forum was set up when I first started going to both sites. Mostly because of the main site had the new forum posts on it. That was until I figured out this site a little better, new go back now. I didn't like at first how I have to click forum on here, but now I just type in the forum address to save time. LOVE IT.

Re: FZR Archives
I loved the Archives like everyone else. The problem is that there is only 1 person at the top and he's not communicating with anyone.
We set up this site to make sure that doesn't happen. If ever the day comes when new people need to take over.... then they take over. The information belongs to all members.
We have tried to accommodate almost every request to improve the site over here. Unfortunately, there isn't always a solution, but we try at least. The WIKI is awesome! The CHAT is awesome! And, we have no spam on this site and we'll keep up with the security crap to ensure that.
LONG LIVE THE FZR COMMUNITY!!!!

+ 100 on everything that you said, I like the community feel here cause people actually talk about stuff other than our bikes, if anyone needs help with something else someone is willing to help. Plus people actually get together for rides and what not. Speaking of which, you are my closest neighbor RD. We should get together in the spring, you could teach me LOTS AND LOTS of useful stuff. As long as you don't mind me lagging behind like crazy if we ride.ragedigital wrote:I loved the Archives like everyone else. Re: FZR Archives
There is a little 1/8 mile track down in Sikeston that I kinda wanted to go to, just to see what she would do. I would much rather see what other people that have been riding longer can do. I was going to go watch my friend race his 07 FZ6 against a WRX STi. But that was the day my vr crapped and then the clutch was slipping at like 9k.ragedigital wrote:I usually stick to the Track Days, but I may hit some twisties if the weather is nice. i would say DDOS attack, but no matter how bad a site is, i still don't believe that an attack would be the way to go. i still can't believe how stubborn THE MAN is. i know rage has attempted multiple times to get him to stand aside, but whatever. let the site fall to pieces, maybe it will die once and for all. Re: FZR Archives
It's time and Links.. The more we get linked to by youtube and facebook, myspace etc. The higher we go up in ranking.. We are still number 5 on google and around 3 on google for a straight FZR search.

Its like a dog. Sure it was a great dog for years, but now its got rabies, so you gotta take it behind the house and shoot it before it bites someone.
