Jammy
The risers height would be strictly your choice based on your height & your riding style.
Straight bars look better than Dirt bike bars on a street bike but that is Just Me .
As the others have said plenty of pictures are always welcome

yes I agree , I was trying to figure it out a bit in my head but I think theyll work out good. I was slightly worried about them pulling me up and forward and making it uncomfortable to ride, with the rise and the fact they dont tilt back towards the rider at all , (`normal` bars being bent back a bit towrd you) . I suppose the only way to get them right is by trial and error when the bikes togeth

I have loadsa pics of the fzr im building from the ground up right now, Im slightly too thick to figure this posting them up on this forum though. Ive read the thing a few times. Ive managed to put a couple of pics of my rebuild into the my pics bit on the gallery.....

But to clarify to post pics in a thread I first upload them into my gallery folder (only upto ten pics though one or two at a time) . And then once they are there how do i put the pic say into this bit of writing im writing right now ? Ill make a thread of my rebuild somewhere if i can figure it out . Also is it only a maximum of 10 pics i can upload here?? if so how do i find a way to upload more? Forgive me Im not the fizziest pop in the fridge when it comes to this subjecct !

If you are still running the FZR front end and are planning to keep it then you could always swap the top clamp to one from a Yamaha XJ600N (known as the Seca II here in the states). From what i have read it is the same dimensions as the stock FZR forks and is a bolt on swap. Gives you risers and the option of running dirty bars as well.

This info correct? Hell if it is, ill pick up a set today! Seems to be a few ways to go about this mod, just how much time or money would u like to invest. Then comes to just committing to a decision.

But if buying the top clamp is a way to get this done, i see it as being the best way for me. Now are they 92-98 XJ600s? Found a pair for these years and b4 i click the buy now i would like to know 99% that they will fit with reasonable amount of modifications. Thanks!!
