I got a measuring tape out and measured bar height and the stock FZR is about 30" from bar to axle and my fzr is about 26.5" from bar to axle. 3.5" difference

I bet the compression is slightly different though. The old FZR forks probably compress a lot more under heavy braking.

i have axcess to some cheap fairings form a R6 04 tail..would that work on my 98 FZR600?

Update, all the pictures I had uploaded were deleted by imageshack due too there new payment policy.
