I say we start a "Photoshopped Shredex" thread. We could do it David Letterman Style... call it. "Let's see Shred Mod a....."

WTF?!
How did you pull that off!?
I'll bet the big guy in the first shot is the impound yard goon, no?

Whoever your fooled into giving you that bike back, I have to give you props.
I don't think I would have been able to walk away from that investment either.

I was chatting with my dad about getting in a few track days in at Mid Ohio next season; have a taste of what you (including you, Shred) can't enjoy (shouldn't) on the street. He said sure, "but you gotta be willing to write-off your bike if you drop it..."
Suddenly a track bike sounded like a great idea!

BTW, are there tracks that you can ride on without a street license? I'm sure you could if it was a private track/you knew the guy.
Might be an option for ya, Shred.

well, unfortunatly the wise choice is to sell the bike to help pay for a lawyer.
so bike will be sold once I can get it sold :(
I have my first court date on the 17th of this month and I dont have any sort of public defender or lawyer.

this is how I got it back.
I think I told you guys that the bike holder was screwing me over.
when I first called he straight up said "im not releasing it to you"
after talking with him he said he would release it if I brought him title $500 and proper renewed registration.
I told him I wouldnt be able to renew the registration until every legal thing is cleared
which is not going to happen for years and it would have been gone by then. so its impossible and pointless to try.
he said "yup."
I said "theres really nothing I can do to get it back :(?"
he said "well you can bring me the title and key to the bike >:]"
I said "F you sir (not really, just said..) you just want that so you can sell it off for more money!"
he said "you think I care about selling an 89'?"
I asked why i couldnt tow it off the lot. he said that I was just going to drive it illegaly so no.
I said thats wrong.
he said Im wrong.
I call my soon to be lawyer. he said bike holder guy is wrong.
I call back holder guy back. tell him about my conversation with my lawyer.
guy said ok bring me $500, the title, and a proper tow truck and you can get it.
cant be normal pickup?
No. proper licensed tow truck
I said thank you sir.
I bring him his $500 and show im the legal owner of bike...but I didnt have money for tow truck so I got paid and found out it would cost over $100 for the tow so I thought I would call the yard it was at and ask them since the bike holder guy lied to me before could be lying about the tow truck thing.
guy at yard says "yea, we could get it in a pickup. sure"
I says sweet.
gots my boss to give me a ride up to the jail impound yard and picked her up :)

and thats my story...more to it with the bike holder, like multiple phone calls but thats just the basics

yea, they treated her like poop!
looks like some birds were living on the bike. along with cob webs and poop and rustyness.
been sitting out in the cold rainy weather for the past month :(
gotta tear it down and clean the carbs and tank out now before I can even try to start her
