Almost every bike-engine runs the same oil in the transmision as in the engine. ( Harly Davidson is an exepsion ) The gears in the trans will destroy convensional oil that was not meant to be used in a bike-motor,therfore always use an oil that is bike-specific. A trusted bike dealer told my that. +39 on what George said about not trusting the sales man. Most sales people dont know the diferenc betwin a spark-plug and a wiperblade.
Anyway, dont try to save money when buying oil.
So I was reading in the WIKI and forum about oil changes.
