anyway. After all of the right hand turns at stop lights, when I would get on the throttle the oil light would come on, during the shift it would go off, and when back on the throttle back on it would come. Now we had gone about 2 miles of 2 and 3rd gear back and forth. Couldn't go very fast with all the HD and Goldwings. 
Anyway when we got back I had the gf lean the bike up and I had oil inbetween the 2 dots and it didn't look extremely dark. On the way home from the ride I couldn't get it to come on at all, this morning it did the same thing after I had warmed her up a bit. All the right hand turns. Also it was 63 degrees yesterday and 48 this morning.I did an oil change about 1200 miles ago, at 7k. And was about to add some sea foam and then do another one before it gets real cold. The other problem is that I put mobil 1 semi synthetic oil, 10w40 I believe,in it on the last oil change and I was told later on that car oil shoudn't be used. I also got the 6 dollar napa filter.
I did a wiki and forum search and someone was having problems with their 1000 and it was suggested to do an oil change.
