Rear Brakes?
What rear brakes are a direct bolt on upgrade for the FZR

The YZF caliper is the same exact part number, so that is no upgrade, but the rotor has a more aggressive cross drill pattern on the YZF and it bolts on. Then there is always aftermarket rotors like EBC and Galfer. As for calipers, Im not sure there are any that are a true bolt on and offer much improvement on the 600. Ive seen a R1 caliper swapped onto a 400 pretty easily though IIRC. You can also upgrade the master cylinder to a later R1 or R6 one. Im running a R1 Brembo MC. All you have to do is swap the shaft from the FZR MC to the R1 MC, then its bolt on. Im running R1 MC, SS line, FZR caliper, YZF rotor, EBC HH pads. Im pretty happy with the setup. I will eventually upgrade to a R6 wheel and use the R6 caliper too.

Why would you want to upgrade your rear break? The front brakes are what really stops your bike...

I'd have to agree with Freeze and Dragon. A proper functioning master cylinder, good quality pads, a flat and true rotor, and throw in a braided or stainless line and you're good to go. A lighter weight rotor like a wave rotor may free up some unsprung weight and allow it to stop a bit quicker but it's still a pretty fool proof setup.

I just don't like the way it looks compared to my blue dots on the front, thats all. I figured if I could get something that looked a little nicer with the blue dots and it was a upgrade then I would go for it.

However any caliper will work providing you do not mind a little work see:-

GSXR upside down caliper on an RD 400

Underslung Kawa caliper

the above tied to the frame (MotoGP geometry ) using Duacati suspension struts modified for the job by being cut in half
Just acouple of ideas to get on with.
PS up side down & attached to the frame properly eliminates shock lock & wheel hop.
