If you threw on pod filters then you will need to rejet. I'm kinda shocked your bike doesn't run like crap now w/o rejetting. I had mine jetted for a full exhaust and when I put on pod filters, it wouldn't rev past 6k. After I jetted, i noticed a HUGE top end power boost. Might not be a bad idea to order up a stage 3 and swap out jets and give the carbs another good cleaning.

unfortunately for me I keep having to discover what kinds of parts my motorcycle has. When I was brand new to the motorcycle scene i didn't even know i had an aftermarket shock, full exhaust, etc.

but i digress

I think it doesn't run like shit because the bike used to be a race bike. I'm guessing it may already be jetted with a stage 3?

Maybe while you go to clean your carbs, pull the main jets and check the #'s on them. Not knowing whats in your bike makes it that much harder to diagnose. All i have to say is that the bike must hav been running really rich before you put the carbs on then. That prolly fouled out your plugs. Thus having no spark.
