Anti-fog?

Post by delvryboy »

Does anyone use anything on their face shield? Usually, after I take off, any fogging will dissipate. However, the temp/humidity combo the last few nights has been killing me. I have a constant haze that barely goes away. I have seen RainX anti-fog and the like and was wondering if anyone has used these.

What brand of helmet are you using? Sounds like the ventilation does not flow very well.

I use rain-x anti-fog on my visors. Ive got a HJC and a KBC and they fog up badly when sitting. Using the rain-x doesnt cure it completely, but it helps a lot. Its the difference between one big breath fogging up the entire visor, or just fogging the edge a littlt.

I use Meguiar's 'PlastX' on my faceshields (bike and sled helmets). If I get any fogging, it is there and gone almost immediately.
