Track Day - Cadwell Park... before I die.
After watching the races at Cadwell Park, now I know where I want to do a Track Day before I die. That track looks amazing!

Before China turned of our YouTube privileges I used to watch races there. I have a few Brit friends and they say while a bit tricky its a great place to go do a track day at.

I'm taking the FZR there on Thursday!
I've done one day there before and its a great track, its got everything, as well as the famous jump (the mountain) theres also a really twisty bit through a wooded area (hall bends i think) Its in the middle of nowhere and there are no pit garages but its a hell of a place. ill let you know how i get on and try to take some pictures for you!!

No, i did one yesterday with focussed events. i didnt buy the pictures of me from the photographer (£30!!!) but i took a few snaps which i'll load up when i find my camera.
It was a great, glorious sunny day, and a good opportunity to get the tyres smoking hot. My brakes started to fade really badly towards the end of the day (its really scary when the lever comes back to the bar at the end of the straight.) and bleeding them through didnt solve it and i didnt have fresh pads so i didnt go crazy in the afternoon (As i had to ride it 4 hours home at the end of the day)
For once there was a guy there on a worse bike than mine! a 1988 cbr600 jelly mould, missing nearly all its garish yellow plastics and smoking like a bunch of mums at the school gates, but we both had a great day embarasing all the guys with their fancy-dan tyre warmers and slicks! Well OK.... maybe not all of them

INSANE! I never ride to or from the track. My legs hurt too much to do that.tattysteve wrote:As i had to ride it 4 hours home at the end of the day
