Hi,
Ik's are not my forte, but the wiring looks original, I would look at the colour scheme of the physical wires and then hunt thro the wiring diagram for those colours

I don't know much about 1k's but that sounds like your pickup coil? Does that 1k have one? I know that they have an actual alternator as opposed to stator? I might not be much help..

okay checked somethings out, battery is def. good, not the clutch switch, not the sidestand switch

i believe this leaves: plugs, plug wires, pick up coil, the digital ignitor

How do you know your not getting spark?

Take a plug wire out and get a old plug and put it in the plug. Try starting the bike and see if there is spark on the plug.

If no. Check:

-coils, pickup coil (located in your stator cover) and your CDI (computer, brain)

I wish I could be more help to what plug that is for, but the 1k's are different than the 600's

okay....very very weak spark, tried it with a 600 plug

i found this: "PROBLEM FREAKIN SOLVED

Man, after lots and lots of testing, working through the harness etc, I finally figured out why I had no spark.

Drum roll please.

When you read the schematic it show "kick stand relay" or the relay that grounds the ignition box to prevent the bike from starting if it is in gear, clutch, side stand. Well I assumed that when the relay was powered, it would close and tie the ECU to ground. Well, the relay is the opposite. When there is no power, it is continuous and ties the ECU to ground. When voltage is applied, it opens the circuit, then the ECU will provide spark.

Just cut this stupid wire, and now all spark plugs are blazing away with tons of spark.

Well, at least I learned a lot about trouble shooting electronics."

could that be my mystery wire?
