Re: FACTORY PRO GEAR SHIFT
Ive got it on mine. It makes the shifts nice and firm. Sometimes getting into N can be a little tricky, but not having to worry so much about missed shifts is worth it.hagalout wrote:Has anyone used the gear shift kit that they do for the fzr/yzf ,retails for £29.99 /$40 ish had one on a kwak seemed to work ok . just wondered if anyone has used one

Re: FACTORY PRO GEAR SHIFT
It's just a heavier spring. Makes the bike click into gear and reduces mis-shifts. Expensive little spring... much like the other overpriced parts from Factory Pro.

Umm, you forgot it also uses a bearing instead of a crappy stamped piece of steel. That's a big part.ragedigital wrote:It's just a heavier spring. Makes the bike click into gear and reduces mis-shifts. Expensive little spring... much like the other overpriced parts from Factory Pro.

Re: FACTORY PRO GEAR SHIFT
i'm assuming someone across the pond makes a shift kit, much like the factory pro kit, and a fair spot cheaper. i paid $90 usd for mine. worked like a charm though, shifting is very solid.

Re: FACTORY PRO GEAR SHIFT
They only include the bearing if you fall for their marketing hype and spend the extra $40 on it....thatkid wrote:Umm, you forgot it also uses a bearing instead of a crappy stamped piece of steel. That's a big part.

I just bought the spring and it worked great!
