Hey guess what

Post by scarlett »

I got my motorcycle license today!

I took the safety course through Northern IL University this weekend. The instructors were excellent, although there were quite the amount of (putting it nicely) dummies in my class. Yesterday it decided to PISS down on us the whole time and today it was up to 98 degrees. At least we got a wide range of conditions!

So yurp.

Actually, yes. One of them didn't end up passing the class. Then of course there were the four or five who had to waste everyone's time by asking questions that had already been answered.

I booked back in February pretty much right when registration opens. It fills up fast.

You are in Chicago, Delvryboy?

You could always rip over across the michigan state line for a weekend. The state of michigan is subsidizing MSF basic rider course....the cost of the full weekend is only $25(leaving plenty of room to book a hotel for two nights), and the classes down thataway are prolly much less in demand than Chicagoland.

Yeah, well....Michigan kinda cares whether or not the 'scooter trash' dies on the roads. I don't think bikers in Florida have any political clout-what with your avg. population age about 95yrs old-all of them who have nothing better to do that watch tv, read newspapers, and vote.

We were given the option of getting our $20 back or donating more at the end of the class.
