Re: The FZ-R1 project (lots of pictures)
bracket i made to hold up my Scorpian slip-on broke..
so......
04-06 r1 undertail installed as side can.
Im going to cut off the mount and have it welded on the top so I can mount it to rearset
hugs nice
Got a video for the sound to...
for some reason my bikes not smoking...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hucTSzN7Ik8
still processing so the quality sux..the sound sux to...
the pipe actually makes it alot quieter.
all you can hear is the engine mostly...so I might baffle the exhaust

Re: The FZ-R1 project Update:08/08/09
ok, So when my clutch cable snapped today I was very upset, expecially since I had so many errands to run today.
I was freaking out because most fzr stuff is back ordered and take a month to arrive so I was freaking even more because of not having transportation for a month.
I went to my motorcycle shop and had Russ (the owner) look one up for me. I told him I was worried about the back order thing and he said he should be able to get an aftermarket one for me.
he flipped threw the book and was like "here we go"
and I asked how much, he said "twelve bucks" and I was like "really! thats awesome! but how long do I have to wait for it to arrive??"
he said "should be here by wednsday"
yay, but my GF leaves to college TUESDAY!! poop. cant see her much that means.
I also have school registration to go to tomorrow but i can find a ride for that.
anyways, to get to my point...
Iv had this 04-06 R1 Clutch cable lying around that came with my throttle cables...So I pondered...and pondered and just said "F It! im just gonna try it!"
so I just installed the the damn cable. its much longer but that just meant that i had to put the cable threw the frame a weird way, it comes out the right side and up around the triples to the other side.
well, its all hooked up and it seems the clutch is set right...im about to go and give it the real test though...
im scared....wish me luck!
