Car Fuel pump in FZR????

I just got in to work. Thank you triple A! Anyways the pump on my FZR600 died with on my way to work this morning. Will a generic electric puel pump grom a car work? I know Kragen has some Holley/Purolator pumps for kinda cheap. Square things with the transitor on them. I used them on my 4x4 pretty succesfully. So if can fuel a 440 MOPAR mud monster, it should be OK on a 600 fzr??
I just have figure out where/how to mount it. Sorry no money for new or time for Ebay. I wanna ride Saturday real bad.
I swear I think my FZR came in a little baggie... I need it real bad

Yep. 2 wire 5.5-9 psi self regulating fuel pump will work. I'd see if they have This one though. I plan on swapping one in on my 1k when i have the time.

I do not see the size of the fuel input & delivery nozzles quoted , the one in the diagram looks awfully small considering the size of hose we use on FZR's ???????

Inlet Size 3/8 in.

Outlet Size 3/8 in.
