It looks pretty sweet but you keep saying HID conversion. Is it a true HID system or just a projector headlight. There is a very big difference between the two. You didn't mention anything about a ballast or having to rewire the headlight switch so I'm assuming it's just a projector but I want to be sure. Either way, it looks VERY clean and pretty damn cool. Now you just need two in there so you can look like the euro headlight.

Thanks thatkid, I thought I mentioned the ballast, but maybe not... yes it is a true HID bi-xenon system with a D2S bulb, for both hi/lo beam. I rewired the "lo-beam" to come on with the ignition, and wired the hi-beam switch to control the hi-beam solenoid on the projector. The hi-beam in this bi-xenon system works by a solenoid on the projector that moves the little shield inside the HID projector housing down, which essentially lets more light "up" by the projector, thus making it a hi-beam. This is exactly like the bi-xenon projector I got, manufactured by Valeo: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 73228&rd=1

I was originally thinking of putting 2 side-by-side, but you can't fit two projectors in there without mangling the housing, and then I'd also lose the aiming. I guess I could probably fiberglass a rear housing too, but for now, I'm pretty happy with the results. Once the shrouds and angel eyes get here, it will look even better cosmetically, and more finished. I'll update with more pics as soon as I get 'er all finished up.

That looks awesome. I really want to do this mod, but my fabrication skills are next to non-existent. I'll wait for thatkid or someone to figure it out and hound him for the fiberglass bits and whatnot :D
