:rofl: epic. that tire doesn't even fit the wheel correctly. you can see the edge of the rim on both sides lol. i do however like the two bro's exhaust, so it's not all bad :Kick

Hmmm... the riding season is short here too, I might email the guy and get the exact size.

Why defile a nice road bike in that way? Surely a cheapo traillie wouldn't have cost much?

Red Tiger put the dirt tires on his bike so he could ride all winter. He studded up the rear tire, but left the front without studs. Riding all winter was hard on the bike; he needed to redo his wheel bearings in the spring from all of the road salt, and if he let the bike sit outside for any period of time in the -25C weather he had a hell of a time getting it started again. He had a plug-in battery blanket draped on the engine whenever possible.

Those pictures are several years old, and the bike is long gone (accident, total loss, but on dry pavement not snow!)

There are a few other nutbars up here who ride their bikes all winter. I am not one of them! One guy is getting his classic '86 GSXR750 set up for this fall.
