FZR 600 Tail Conversion?

Alright i have a Yamaha FZR 600 durr its an 89..And i mean its a nice lookin bike dont get me wrong...

But i have seen a lot of conversions with the R6 Tail or R1 Conversions

Im just wondering if any1 could help me...

This is the Tail that i want mine to look like



Now i have everything stock in the rear fender..So i would need everything that he has..

Can you name the things i need like 1-5 or w/e Thanks a million! I really appreciate it..

This is what i think i need

1. R6 Tail
2. Make some brackets to bolt on
3. 04-06 R1 Seat And Back
4. And a FZR 600 Fender Elminator???? Im not sure with that one?

I just want to make it just like his!!!

Ps..I want to put something for the passenger seat so some1 can sit there to..So something there to hold

you wont find much help from anyone with my tail. freeze did the same tail, but he used the subframe and welded brackets to the fzr frame.


I used a 04-06 R1 tail. I wish I had an undertail for it, it would look much nicer.
you dont need to make a bracket to hold on the tail...you make a bracket to hold the tail light then the r1 tail slips on the end and the tabs slide under the stock fzr tail mount tabs which hold it in place.
I have one simple plate that is flat that I bolted onto the subframe which give the rear seat support. I need a better way to mount the seat though...

Ill send you pics of everything and there internals when I can.

you can get an r1 airtech tail which is bolt on...its modeled after the 99 r1
I used to have it on my bike...
