I'm trying to set up my 1990 fzr600 motor and trans for a go kart. I bought the motor and trans together and got the harness separate. Has anyone there there done a kart out of this motor (I know there are people out there that have done this, I've seen the video's all over you tube) and has some tips on wiring maybe a possible wiring diagram? I've got one from the factory, i believe, but it isn't labeled the best and I'm putting off tearing apart the wiring harness for as long as i can. I've got most of the relays and the comp as well, I'm really eager to get this thing running so that i can move on.
Thanks All,
FZR 600

Re: FZR 600
Welcome. You'll have to post some pics of this project (along with the Rx7-grew up around rotaries myself). Feel free to start a build thread in our "Other" section. The wiring diagram can be found here.

Re: FZR 600
Thanks for the kind welcoming. I'll get some pictures up of the RX7, it's in pretty good shape. I got it from a kid in western Minnesota for $500, got it running within the next month, tore out the motor and sold it to a ice racer, he had a 85 rx7 and was looking for a spare motor and trans. Now I've got my V-8 and a 5 speed waiting to go in.
I'll start a thread in the "other" section, thanks for the diagrams, I'm hoping to get some work done on the 600 this weekend.
