Fairings fitting an FZR600

Post by STN »

Hi this being my first post, can you guys tell me, what fairings will fit a 97 FZR6? I heard that you can throw on YZF side lower fairings, or find some way to fab on r1 fairings. Thanks for the info.

I believe for a direct fit all years sides will fit and 89-90/93-on. 91/92 has a differnt single headlight upper. Other than that pretty much all the same. Alot of differnet ones can be made to fit, just depends on how much work you want to do.
92 FZR600
Yoshimura RS-3 Carbon Fiber Slip-on
02 R6 Caliper and MC Swap with S/S Lines
Dual Headlight Upper Swap
Clear Taillight w/LED Bulbs
Vortex 520 Conversion 14/47 RK Gold Chain
Shinko 006 Podium 150/60/18 rear 110/70/17 Front
More To Come

This may sound like a dumb or obvious question....but I won't know unless I ask. So, along these same lines.... Can fairings from a FZR 1000 fit a 600?

STN - what country are you from? That will help us identify what fairings will git your specific bike.

My bike had 1K fairings on it when I bought it. Looked like ass, fit like ass. The tank is too wide and hits the bars, te fairings have to be trimmed to clear the engine, the tail was held on with zip ties, no way to fasten the seat. There are much better options. It was a half assed install but even with a lot of work I dont think it would look great.
