FZR600R Front Fork Springs

I've in the process of renewing my suspension. Done the rear shock now for the forks. Contact Hagon for prices and they have given me two. One for springs that are (1994 FZR600R)390mm long and 35.4mm wide. The others are (1995 FZR600R) 423mm long and 35.3mm wide.

My problem is simple, how do i find out what the springs i should go for? I measured the existing springs and they are 374mm long.

I was just going to order the 390mm ones but my bike is the 1995 model.

Is there anyone that has had this problem or can help?

Where are you? Depending on where on the planet you call home, you may be talking two models of FZR (which is odd, since the 89?-97? were pretty much unchanged), or you're comparing FZR600 to YZF600.

you are doing business with the wrong company !
if you want the original crap springs for the bike get the wimpy copy of the wimpy stock springs, you go to Hagon.

If you want the proper sptings to get the front forks working as they should you take a look at

Now I did do the whole hog with emulators (PD valves) but with just the custom springs they were far better and at 40 quid for the pair from the factory could not be simpler.

Sorry guys. Location up now. Fife, Scotland is where i hang my hat. I've looked at loads of FZR's over the years and have found one or two changes. My bike is the 4JH "Foxeye". My last bike was a FZR400 and the whole front end was different. I never went to Hagon for my rear shock. I put a Nitron sport shock on. Since i've had the bike i've been replacing parts. Everything on it has been "Cowboyed!" Can't be sure about anything. Hoping the last piece is the front springs. Just not sure what ones to put on

Drop a line or pick up the phone to Race Tech; tell them you have a YZF600, and them how much you weigh. They'll set you up with good springs. If yours are the early non-cartridge forks, do yourself a favour and buy the cartridge emulators - I've never used them personally (my projects have all involved swapping for fully-adjustable cartridge units), but every review I've ever read has had nothing but praise.

go to Race tech's site they have their spring calculator on it and they were the numbnuts who gave me the run around to ship to the UK hence me having springs custom made locally

The fruit may be sweet in the end but if you have to shovel a mountain of shit to get to it...................
I also believe the buyer is UK based and likely to run up against the same parochial attitude.
