will 06 R6 forks/triple tree fit the FZR?

I just found this on craigslist, not sure if it will work or not, so I thought I would ask to see if anyone knows if it will. I haven't emailed the guy yet, but he says he has the triple tree and forks. Will it fit? If it's $100, I think I would rather swap this than change my fork seals, about the same price after everything, I would just need a front wheel.

you would have to either use the threaded rod method (which i dont care for) or do what I did and take your fzr triples and the r6 triples to a machine shop and have them press the fzr stem into the r6 triples. they had to weld mine up then bore it out because the r6 stem is bigger. cost 65 bux. i say go for it

yes. except they dont bore it...they weld around the base, then turn it down to the right thickness on a metal lathe.
its how i did mine!
Any forks will work...with the right rigging

I'm sorry, but did you really just ask this question? I have a set on my bike right now. And if the guy sells them for less than $250 then you probably don't want them as they will have some good damage on them. Or the guy ran out of drugs and wants money for more.

Or they are stolen and damaged in some way. Modking can also do up some triples.

I doubt they are stolen, the guy said he's selling the ignition with keys and he said he still has the title and frame available. He wouldnt have that stuff if it was stolen. Unless he was smart and said that even though it is stolen, so when people ask about that stuff he can just say it's gone already.
